The Broad Museum’s 2021 map features three main levels: the first floor with the lobby, ticketing, museum shop, and the special exhibition gallery; the second floor is primarily staff and storage areas; and the third floor houses the expansive, column-free main galleries displaying the permanent collection. Visitors enter through the lobby, ascend a 105-foot escalator or glass elevator that tunnels through the central “vault” (art storage), and arrive at the third-floor galleries filled with contemporary art.
