Welcome to Downtown Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Law School Campus Map helps you navigate our urban campus. The main building at 250 Joralemon Street is located directly across from Borough Hall and the NYS Supreme Court.

Brooklyn Law School is integrated into the Brooklyn Civic Center. The main academic building is located at 250 Joralemon Street, directly facing Borough Hall. Other key facilities, including Admissions at 111 Livingston Street, are clustered nearby. The campus utilizes the urban environment, with key landmarks like the U.S. District Court and NYS Supreme Court adjacent to BLS buildings.

Walking Routes & Accessibility

Pedestrian navigation between BLS buildings involves short walks along public sidewalks. The main building at 250 Joralemon is one block east of Feil Hall on State Street. 111 Livingston Street is two blocks south. Main walking routes utilize Joralemon Street, Court Street, and Livingston Street, all of which feature accessible curb cuts at intersections.

Parking & Entrances

As an urban campus, BLS does not have dedicated surface parking lots. Visitors can find numerous public parking garages in the Downtown Brooklyn area, particularly along Adams Street, Jay Street, and State Street. The Parking Map section provides details on nearby garage locations. Main building entrances are directly on Joralemon Street, Livingston Street, and State Street.

Transit & Getting Here

The campus is highly accessible via public transit. The Jay St-Borough Hall station (A, C, F, R trains) and the Borough Hall station (2, 3, 4, 5 trains) are both within a two-block walk of the main building. By car, the campus is reachable via the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (I-278), using Exit 29 (Tillary St) or Exit 28 (Cadman Plaza West).

Dorms & Student Housing

The primary residence for BLS students is Feil Hall, located at 205 State Street. This residence hall is situated just west of the main academic building, offering convenient walking access. It is located near the intersection of State Street and Court Street, close to the amenities of Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill.
